At the end of 2025, Aguas de Valencia Internacional was awarded a new contract in the State of Qatar, strengthening its presence in the Gulf region and reaffirming its commitment to sustainability and innovation in water management.
The contract will commence on 1 February 2026, with a duration of five years and an estimated budget of €350 million. It covers the operation, maintenance and upgrade of wastewater infrastructure in Northern Qatar, serving 1.3 million inhabitants. The project will be delivered under a framework contract and will involve the mobilisation of more than 600 professionals from 20 different nationalities.
